The synthesis of polyoxymethylene dimethyl ethers as an ideal diesel fuel additive is the current hot topic of modern petrochemical industry for their expedient properties in mitigating air pollutants emission during combustion. In this work, a series of spherical sulfated zirconia catalysts were prepared by a one-pot hydrothermal method assisted with surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The prepared sulfated zirconia catalysts were used to catalyze PODEn synthesis from methanol and formaldehyde solution. Various characterization (XRD, BET, SEM, TGA, NH3-TPD, FTIR, and Py-IR) were employed to elaborate the structure–activity relationship of the studied catalytic system. The results demonstrated that S/Zr molar ratio in precursor solution played an effective role on catalyst morphology and acidic properties, where the weak Brønsted acid sites and strong Lewis acid sites were favorable to the conversion of methanol and formation of long-chain PODEn, respectively. The reaction parameters such as catalyst amount, molar ratio of FA/MeOH, reaction time, temperature and pressure were optimized. The speculated reaction pathway for PODEn synthesis was proposed based on the synergy of Brønsted and Lewis acid sites, which suggested that Brønsted and Lewis acid sites might be advantageous to the activation of polyoxymethylene hemiformals [CH3(OCH2)nOH] and methylene glycol (HOCH2OH), respectively. 相似文献

用直流电弧等离子体法制备Fe纳米粒子,用作微波吸收剂。用γ-氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷(KH550)对Fe纳米粒子的表面改性,然后按不同比例与环氧树脂均匀混合。在混合物中添加碳纤维后制备出Fe纳米粒子/碳纤维/环氧树脂基功能/结构一体化吸波复合材料,研究了吸收剂的添加量和浓度梯度、碳纤维以及平板结构等因素对其在2-18 GHz范围内吸波性能的影响。结果表明,碳纤维促进了结构体内电磁波的多重反射与吸收,在低频段出现反射损耗峰并提高吸波性能;随着Fe纳米粒子含量的提高吸波能力逐渐增强,吸收峰向低频移动;在环氧树脂的固化过程重力导致Fe纳米粒子浓度呈梯度分布,使平板状复合材料正、反两面的吸波性能出现差异,吸收剂浓度的梯度分布有利于电磁波的进入和吸收。 相似文献

Cobalt sulfide (CoS2) is considered one of the most promising alternative anode materials for high‐performance lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) by virtue of its remarkable electrical conductivity, high theoretical capacity, and low cost. However, it suffers from a poor cycling stability and low rate capability because of its volume expansion and dissolution of the polysulfide intermediates in the organic electrolytes during the battery charge/discharge process. In this study, a novel porous carbon/CoS2 composite is prepared by using nano metal–organic framework (MOF) templates for high‐preformance LIBs. The as‐made ultrasmall CoS2 (15 nm) nanoparticles in N‐rich carbon exhibit promising lithium storage properties with negligible loss of capacity at high charge/discharge rate. At a current density of 100 mA g?1, a capacity of 560 mA h g?1 is maintained after 50 cycles. Even at a current density as high as 2500 mA g?1, a reversible capacity of 410 mA h g?1 is obtained. The excellent and highly stable battery performance should be attributed to the synergism of the ultrasmall CoS2 particles and the thin N‐rich porous carbon shells derieved from nanosized MOF precusors. 相似文献

New magnesium nanocomposites reinforced with copper–graphene nanoplatelet hybrid particles have been prepared through the semipowder metallurgy method. Compared with the monolithic Mg, the Mg–1Cu–xGNPs nanocomposites exhibited higher tensile and compressive strength. In tension, nanocomposites revealed substantial enhancement in elastic modulus, 0.2% yield strength, ultimate tensile strength and failure strain (up to +89, +117, +58 and +96% respectively) compared to monolithic Mg. In compression, the nanocomposites showed the greatest improvement in 0.2% yield strength, and the ultimate compressive strength and failure strain (%) (up to +34, +59 and +61% respectively), whilst the compressive elastic modulus first increases and then decreases with an increase in the graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) contents. The enhanced strength of the composites is likely to result from strengthening mechanisms invoked by the addition of Cu–GNPs hybrids. 相似文献

This laminar fluid study investigates the effects of a magnetic field on the entropy generation during fluid flow and heat transfer due to an exponentially stretching sheet. Using the suitable transformations we have obtained the analytical solutions for momentum and energy equation in terms of Kummer's function. The velocity and temperature profiles are obtained for various physical parameters which are utilized to find the entropy generation number Ns and the Bejan number Be. The use of fossil fuel is expected to increase significantly by midcentury because of the large rise in the world energy demand despite the effective integration of renewable energies in the energy production sector. This increase, alongside with the development of stricter emission regulations, forced the manufacturers of combustion systems, especially gas turbines, to develop novel combustion techniques for the control of NOx and CO2 emissions, the latter being a greenhouse gas responsible for more than 60% to the global warming problem. The present review addresses different burner designs and combustion techniques for clean power production in gas turbines. Combustion and emission characteristics, flame instabilities, and solution techniques are presented, such as lean premixed air‐fuel (LPM) and premixed oxy‐fuel combustion techniques, and the combustor performance is compared for both cases. The fuel flexibility approach is also reviewed, as one of the combustion techniques for controlling emissions and reducing flame instabilities, focusing on the hydrogen‐enrichment and the integrated fuel‐flexible premixed oxy‐combustion approaches. State‐of‐the‐art burner designs for gas turbine combustion applications are reviewed in this study, including stagnation point reverse flow (SPRF) burner, dry low NOx (DLN) and dry low‐emission (DLE) burners, EnVironmental burners (including EV, AEV, and SEV burners), perforated plate (PP) burner, and micromixer (MM) burner. Special emphasis is made on the MM combustor technology, as one of the most recent advances in gas turbines for stable premixed flame operation with wide turndown and effective control of NOx emissions. Since the generation of pure oxygen is prerequisite to oxy‐combustion, oxygen‐separation membranes became of immense importance either for air separation for clean oxy‐combustion applications or for conversion/splitting of the effluent CO2 into useful chemical and energy products. The different carbon‐capture technologies, along with the most recent carbon‐utilization approaches towards CO2 emissions control, are also reviewed. 相似文献
